What is your role at the school?

Mr. J. Patrick O’Donnell is a Second Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo and has been training since he was ten years old. He is a Red Top Instructor at Karate Unlimited.

What I love about Martial Arts is that even at the most basic physical level it has the ability to build a person’s confidence to a much higher point. Seeing the growth of a student from when they first come in; to after a couple months is astounding. That alone grew my love for the martial arts from the time I was a student, to when I began teaching.

Something you wouldn’t know by looking at me is that I love reading. It could be books, articles, or even academic journals. I enjoy reading most when it pertains to historical events. This is why I’m currently majoring in History, and Education at Rosemont College.
