Master Bridgette Lear

What is your role at the school?

Master Bridgette Lear is a 4th Degree Master Black Belt and Senior Instructor at Karate Unlimited. Master Bridgette started in the martial arts at the age of 7 and has over 20 years experience in martial arts. With Master Bridgette starting her training at such an early age, she knows how important providing structure and building the fundamentals is to our younger students.

My favorite thing about martial arts is creating a second family and safe space for everyone, and seeing students become inspired and transform into someone they never thought they’d be. Watching people bloom in finding themselves a little more each time they come to class.

Something we wouldn’t know about you: I love Karaoke!

My favorite moment in my martial arts is seeing the positive impact. It is a ripple effect. Not only helping students achieve their goals inside the school, but watching them be inspired to do more and spread kindness when they are outside of the school as well. I love hearing about what the students are up to outside of the school, and how they are also using what they learn inside the dojo in their daily lives to better the world around them.
